Description
(Ex G. Moen, ex CN: Tibet/Xizang: Linzhi, Bomixian, Galongla Yakou, 4050m)
This should the “typical” Lilium saccatum, and a good coloured form at that. I’m not entirely buying into the splitting of georgei, saccatum and brunneum – and certainly not the latter two, but if Gao has genetic proof saccatum is separate from georgei/brunneum I will accept it… (I’m eagerly awaiting the Lilium apertum complex being split up next!)
Do not sow under glass or inside, the seedlings are extremely sensitive to heat and need cool, fluctuating early spring temperatures. They will withstand light freezes, but they will not withstand too hot conditions! Extremely limited, please don’t order these unless you’re in coastal N Europe, the Alps, or coastal(and cool) areas of Canada.
8+ seeds per package. Collected 2025.
