Description
Seeds from the C. capitata hybrid found and spread around by Peter Korn. Seedlings will obviously not true to name, and for all I know it may have further hybridized in the garden here, but you should expect something showy!
The original cultivar is unfortunately somewhat short lived in the garden here, so benefits from being divided at least every other year.
Sow immediately upon receipt and leave the pot outside, the seeds need stratification and can sometimes take 2 years to germinate.
15+ seeds per package, moist packed and kept refrigerated since harvest. Collected 2025.
