Description
(CN: Shandong: Zibo, Gaoqingxian)
Lovely and bone hardy Rehmannia from the drier areas of central and northern China, with flowers in rather unique shades of beige, peach and pink (but none in greige). I grow it in a sunny border in sandy soil, and it seems to thrive on neglect.
These seeds seem a bit of a challenge to germinate, and seem to hate organic/peaty seed mixes… If anyone figures out a trick let me know, I’ll try direct sowing them here in a dry, clayey spot.
12+ seeds per package. Collected 2025.
