Description
(Ex H. Zebrowski, CN: Yunnan: Nujiang, Biluo Xueshan, 3900m)
The flower is the colour of a wet tea bag, and the size of the flower itself is smaller than my thumb – but oddly enough it’s still one of my favourites. Originally described back in 1926 as Nomocharis georgei, then correctly reclassified as a lily – and now for some absurd reason re-described as L. brunneum by Gao… The type is linked here.
Do not sow under glass or inside, the seedlings are extremely sensitive to heat and need cool, fluctuating early spring temperatures. They will withstand light freezes, but they will not withstand too hot conditions!
8 seeds per package. Collected 2025.
