Our “Wants list” for trades

If you have any of the following species available as seeds, for either trade – or in some cases for sale – please drop us an email!

We’re always interested in fresh woodlanders, in particular:

  • Arisaema sect. Arisaema, our BO and W/O collections as well as A. dahaiense
  • Corydalis caseana ssp. brandegei (seeds or plants)
  • Delphinium tricorne (seeds or plants)
  • Eranthis, white flowered Asian species
  • Ichtyoselmis (Dicentra) macrantha
  • Polygonatum species from Asia (seeds or plants)
  • Trillium species, especially T. ovatum and pusillum (seeds, or plants of T. ovatum)

As to shrubs and perennials, we’d love to get back some of our own introductions – and some of my own favourites from a garden long gone. If you grow a BO or W/O collection let us know! We’re especially looking for:

  • Acer sp., BO and W/O collections
  • Apios carnea
  • Corydalis panda (seeds or plants)
  • Cremanthodium campanulatum (seeds or plants)
  • Cremanthodium rhodocephalum (seeds or plants)
  • Geranium delavayi (seeds or plants)
  • Geranium farreri
  • Geranium hispidissimum (seeds or plants)
  • Geranium lambertii ex ‘Swansdown’ (seeds or plants)
  • Geranium sinense (seeds or plants)
  • Lilium majoense (the original Chen Yi introduction) (seeds or plants)
  • Magnolia wilsonii BO and W/O collections
  • Mandragora caulescens
  • Meconopsis betonicifolia W/O collection
  • Nomocharis gongshanensis
  • Parasenecio begoniifolius (fat, viable seed)
  • Parasenecio forrestii (fat, viable seeds)
  • Primula advena
  • Primula aemula
  • Primula maximowiczii
  • Primula melanantha
  • Primula szechuanica
  • Primula tangutica
  • Ribes lobbii
  • Ribes roezlii
  • Staphylea holocarpa var. rosea W/O collection

We’re also open to trading for seeds of rarer species Lilium and Fritillaria, and to your own favourites – if they’re (somewhat) uncommon and you consider them deserving of being better known in cultivation.

This list will likely keep growing over the years, so check back – and we’re sadly quite easily tempted…
