Description
(syn. Tripora divaricata)
I first grew this from seeds almost 2 decades ago, back when it was something “new and exciting”. In pictures it looks rather like a hardy version of Clerodendrum ugandense, but in reality the flowers are considerably smaller, if still very pretty. Very hardy, easily took -20C back in Norway. Native to China, Korea and Japan.
Around 150+ cm tall, flowering in late summer into autumn here.
12+ seeds per package. Collected 2025.
