Yunnan: Lincang
Like our spring list collection from Dehong these are supposed to be from wild trees as well, but the group is also widely cultivated for the large, sour fruits used in lots and lots of Yunnan dishes. The pictured shrubs were all photographed in Lincang. We won't hazard to guess what color the resulting flowers will have, but we're sure they'll be decorative - and (if you're cooking "Yunnan sour spicy fish" or making quince gin) tasty!
